SAW BLADE GUIDES
Top and bottom cartridge type pressure saw guide for easy resurfacing. A saw guide-grinding machine can be supplied with the headrig. The top saw guide can raise and fall with a hydraulic cylinder to accommodate for the depth of cut of the timber
BLADE LUBRICATION AND CLEANING
These very important functions are carried out by special felt pads dipping into diesel tank.
Brass scrapers constantly clean the flywheels and protect them from sawdust.
BLADE PROTECTION
Besides the sheet metal cover that protects the non-working part of the blade, a descending guard which is synchronised with the upper guide protects the section of the blade which is not currently being used.
FLYWHEELS
Wheels are of cast iron, fully machined and furnace annealed. Static and dynamic balancing of wheels. Hydraulic tensioning of the blade with electric pump and gas accumulator for cushioning effect. Tilting of upper flywheel is done by a nut and screw system. Both flywheels are having a slight crown at 1/3 of the wheel rim from the front face.
